The Lemosho Route is widely regarded as the most beautiful route up Kilimanjaro, offering panoramic views, rich biodiversity, and excellent acclimatization. It begins on the western side of the mountain and merges with the Machame Route.
After a scenic drive from Arusha to Londorossi Gate for registration, begin your trek through lush montane forest. The trail offers chances to see colobus monkeys and unique flora.

Ascend the Barranco Wall, a short but exciting scramble, then follow a path over ridges and valleys to Karanga Camp.

Hike to the base camp, Barafu, where you will rest and prepare for the summit attempt. You’ll have views of the peak as motivation.

Start your final ascent around midnight. Reach Stella Point for sunrise, then Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After photos and celebration, descend to Mweka Camp.

Descend through rainforest to Mweka Gate. Collect your summit certificate and return to Arusha.
